About Contractor Licensing
Our founder, Ron Givens started this company as a tool for contractors to work with the various governmental agencies throughout California and the United States. Our goal is to assist clients one on one to prepare applications and to pass state exams.
Today, we are leading the industry to higher levels of customer service with Home Study Programs, Books, Consulting and Insurance Services you will need to prepare you and your company for State and Municipal Contractor's License Exams in every state a license exam is required.
Each State has different methods and procedures for testing applicants. Therefore, California License Services provides personal assistance to each client by evaluating the needs and providing the best materials available to accomplish your goals.
You can expect to take a written Law Exam and Trade Exam in most States, however some States require Practical Exams for certain trades. Some states don't have tests at all for many trades.
Contractor Home Study Courses have practice exams and excerpts from the reference manuals that each State uses to produce your exams and toll free numbers to call and ask questions about your material.
If needed, we can arrange for live instruction and/or quiet study rooms. You can prepare days before your exam in convenient proximity to test sites and hotels or the comfort of your home or office.
